Loulicious [Quick.&.Dirty]

Chillin and reminiscing...I'll recap quick and dirty.
How did I arrive here after all???
Play> Spent most of my days chillin @ the Shelter. It was a fun place to dance, chat, listen to some tunz and the Shelter was always filled with other noobs; you never felt outta place. *wonders if it's still there* Anyhoo, that's where I met my first real SL friend Fred Teixeira. Meeting peeps on SL was and still is simply put... one ruhtarted clusterfook. So many different walks of life, so many goals & dreams, so many rulz & stereotypes. So much you could actually choke.



Other cool places I frequented were Inspire Space, shown to me by Soan Honi, Sleek Beach Club, Tracy Sasoon's Mansion, Solana Nude Beach Club, Sweethearts Jazz Club & Gol. Met some more cool peeps... shout outs real quick: Chase, Arri, Mishka<3, Kimo, Jazzman, Foster, Jen, Logan, Siggy*, Broseph, Trix, Daih, Iggy, EmilyAn & Andre. Wtf happened on these sims... hhmmm... music, dancing, exploring, chatting, gesturbating, experimental muppet sex and a lil' bit of newbie drama-rama. Also convinced my real life neighbors Marley & Hayden to sign up and sell their souls to Linden Labs. They totally hate me now, hehe.

FF>> Sooner rather than later, Siggy opened his club Siggy's Paradise Beach Club. That's where I met Lance; Mr. Cool Cat himself. Lance saw some of the graphic design $h!t I created for Siggy's club and also my personal RL fine artwork and just hit the ground running. He was and still is my biggest fan I think. Check it... Lance gets my work into the ZRM Gallery and a private space at the Art festival. Happy to say I'm still selling inworld framed copies of my real life work. Not done yet. He then builds a guest house for me on his island; that's right, whole island. Still not done yet and I should also note that I didn't put out! Lance also opened up his Big Apple Art Gallery to me, which we now share and re-opened as Diagnosis:Art, The Ronas Fine Art Gallery & Studio. That wonderful Mr. Cool Cat took Second Life to a new level. I only wish everyone had a Cool.Cat.Perver like myself.

>>FF x2 Adios to Lance & Fred & Broseph; real life definitely was more exciting. Good riddance to Siggy's Place; which had become the daily hangout... Closed due to contamination. Not saying anything other than drama, drama, drama. Cheers to the opening of my photography studio pixel.WHIPPED, located @ Diagnosis:Art. Allo to Dex, Vienna: the woman who set my heart on fire, Michael: 1st partner, Nimo, Trix again and Ahmad. So many more coolios have made an impression on me and their stories are too hilarious to try and sum up, so I promise to mention them in "PEEPS OR POOPS" & "SOMEBODY HAD TO SAY IT". And that's pretty much what the story is about~ Peeps, music, good times, and silly times... and some linden luv on the side :D

Stop[] So here we are... still chillin with ma peoples, exploring, kickin' it with Mikey, making pickies, being silly and loving Second Life.

Kickin' it old school! No better place to start than the beginning... and here I am: "NOOB LOU"




I have to admit; I do have worse pictures, way worse, but they're all saved on SL. This was before I realized you could save images to your computer instead of dishing out 10L for every silly snapshot you take. So needless to say you wont be seeing those images as they are long lost in the chaotic sea of my inventory. Which btw I wish someone had told me to keep organized before I went filling it up with freebies and give-aways.

Since we've popped over to the land of "I wish"; I wish someone had told me what I was getting myself into before signing onto Second Life. First of all, it takes some getting used to. It's literally like taking Morpheous's red pill and diving into the rabit hole. Sure you can do anything in SL, but how? My advice for the future SL noobies of the world: ask lots of questions! Even if noob-turned-snobs like myself ignore you the first time... keep asking. Second of all, don't pretend to know what SL is really about. Especially if you haven't figured out the answer to the question: "What is the meaning of REAL-life?" Instead, just sit back, relax and enjoy the most poptarted, wacked out rollarcoaster ride you'll ever strap yourself into willingly!
